Community Service

On average, the program completes around 2,000 hours of community service per school year. Students volunteer at various agencies, gaining exposure to a diverse array of life circumstances that foster empathy and respect. Community service stands as a vital component of education at Valley Collaborative. From their very first day on site, students are taught that their actions and behaviors impact not only themselves but also those around them. Through community service, they realize that their positive behaviors can exert just as impactful an effect on their community as their negative behaviors.
