Valley Transitional High School - Alternative Programming

Logo Title

Alternative Programming

Welcome to Valley Collaborative, a lively K-12 public school district. Central to our mission is the Alternative program of the Transitional High School, offering therapeutic support for students' social, emotional, behavioral, vocational, and academic needs. Many of our students face challenges in traditional public schools, motivating us to employ diverse teaching styles in the pursuit of a high school diploma. With small class sizes, we promote student engagement and collaboration. We value self-advocacy, encouraging all students to actively shape their education in this supportive and nurturing environment.

Curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and the Common Core Standards. Classes are also aligned to meet the credit requirements of each sending school district. Students who meet these graduation requirements and pass MCAS are eligible for a high school diploma from their sending district.
